CBS Sports Has Got it Down With a Facebook Page and Apps

By reaching thousands and thousands of users is the simple answer. Platforms like Facebook, and even MySpace, allow their users to create applications (apps). Facebook’s are the most sophisticated and widely varied. You will find everything from CBSsports.com Brackets app on Facebook to an app where you can buy friends, list the movies you like, show what quizzes you’ve done, support causes and much more.

An example I’d like to use is CBS Sports. They created an application page that is a perfect example of what a page and application on Facebook can do:
