I couldn’t agree more and I was about to comment the similar thing as I was reading through these comments. Links are great, but I believe them to be great with the appropriate anchor text (keywords). Very very important part of the link building campaign.

I use the SEO Book plug in for firefox to detect “dofollow links”.

It´s important to tzargeted the right keywords when you begin to build backlinks to your website. This is the first band maybe most important step to success!

I totally believe that link building is one of the most important aspects to making it online. Unfortuntely people think that building links is only about SEO. It’s also about branding. The best quality links are the ones that are in the editorial section of the website. Of course these are the most difficult to get. One way that I have found that really helps in getting good quality links is writing great unique content and guest posting. Of course great unique content takes time to write but I believe it’s totally worth it in the long run.
