Keeping Up with the Social Media Mashup
It seems like there’s a new social media/social bookmarking/microblogging/everything app popping up constantly. So what’s the motivation behind building all these programs that are basically trying to do the same thing? Because they’re looking a way to do everything, or at least the known things, better.
There are apps that will allow you to tap into and stream from multiple sites. Plurk is one of these, as is Plaxo, but there’s still a niche for a really good program that encompasses the ability to do it all in one place; effectively. There are apps, like those mentioned above, that come close, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
